To cover whole Himachal you need at least 8 days. The places which will be covered are Shimla, Manali, Kullu, Rohtang pass, Dharamshala Dalhousie and khajjiar. The entire trip covers only 40 % of Himachal because more then 50 % area is untouched or unrecognised due to non availability of good hotels and transportation. Here we will only discuss famous places in Himachal.

Day 1 Chandigarh Shimla

HIMACHAL PRADESH TOUR FOR COUPLE. Welcome to Shimla the land of God (capital of Himachal Pradesh). Named after Hindu goddess Shymla. Situated at the height of 2205 mts. Himachal is for all nature lovers who want to enjoy adventure activities too. Shimla is bounded by Mandi and Kullu in the north while on south east with Solan and Sirmor.

As a summer capital declared by British rule there are many neo-Gothic architectural buildings in Shimla, also multiple temples and churches from the colonial era. Combined with this, the natural beauty of Shimla attracts a large number of tourists. After your fabulous 4 hours journey from Chandigarh welcome to the concerned hotel. You will be welcomed with the welcome drink.

Day 2 Shimla Kufri Shimla

Arriving at the highest hill station in Shimla district kufri is situated at an elevation of 2290 mts and is famous for Himalayan wildlife zoo hosting antelopes, felines and regional birds like Himalayan Monal. This place is surrounded by the thickest forest. In ancient times it was part of the Kingdom of Nepal. Other than tracking and forest expedition horse and yack riding which magnetise the tourist point of interest.

Next destination will be Naldehra resort famous for the Naldehra Golf court surrounded by the beautiful Davdar trees and himalayan ranges. In the gloaming twilight of Sunset, exploring local places like Lakkar Bazaar, Ridge, Church, Mall road, Scandal Point, Christ church, Kali Bari temple are most preferable locations for an amazing walking experience also it’s an ideal time for shopping and eating out at restaurants.

Day 3 Shimla Manal

Pack your bags for this going to be a 8 hours journey to Kullu Manali. Before reaching the Manali you cannot pass Kullu without having a pleasure of river rafting in the river Base famous for its rapid flow and strong streams. Kullu is another tourist heaven in Himachal situated at the elevation of 1279 mts. It is mentioned in Mahabharata and Puranas. Ancient time ruled by Gupta Empire and Pala dynasty. In kullu you can also do river rafting. After this astonishing experience, he transferred to Manali.

Day 4 Manali Snow-point / Rohtang

Starting from the Rohtang 50 km from Manali at an elevation of 3999 mts. It’s a high mountain pass connecting Kullu valley Lahaul and Spiti. It has great military significance and it is open almost the entire year. It has a reputation for oneof the most dangerous passes due to unpredictable weather.

From November to March pass is covered with 6 to 7 feet snow on higher areas, so it is preferable to travel in summer months. High mountains ranges and beautiful sightseeing with snow covered peaks are the main attraction here.

Day 5 Manali Manikaran Kullu

Same after 8 am Morning proceed for full day tour sightseeing of Manikaran it will take 2 hours to reach there. Beas river will accompany you on your journey towards Manikaran. Manikaran is famous for its hot water spring situated between Parvati valleys. This place is surrounded by high hills. Kullu is also known for being a great Himalayan national park. The park was established in 1984 and there is a lot of variety of flora and fauna. Night stay in Manali.

Day 6 Manali local

First thing in the morning take a religious dose travelling towards the ancient 525 years old Hadimba Devi temple which is surrounded by Thousands of Devdar trees this temple is dedicated to Goddess Hadimba. Goddess Hadimba was Bheem’s wife.It is said that Hadimba was diverted towards spirituality in her later dates and hence left Bheem in search of God.

Maharaja Bhadure Singh built Hadimba temple in 1600 AD to honour her. After this you will find yourself mesmerised by these beauty enrolled places like Tibetan centre & monastery, club House, Vanvihar, mall road, Vashisht village known for its hot sulphur springs. Manali is a rich source of flora and fauna. After a splendid day in the evening you will be dropped to a concerned hotel.

Day 7Manali Dharamshala

Next morning proceed to the Dharamshala, which will take 6 hours to reach. Dharamshala is located in Kangra. Dharamshala is at an elevation of 1457 mts. This is also known as kangra valley. The scenery around Dharamshala included Dhauladhar mid-range hill shortened with bushy shrubs and mid scaled trees. Dharamshala is among the hundred smart cities to be developed in the coming future.

Day 8 Dharamshala Dalhousie

Main attractions are Dalai Lama residence of exiled Tibetan Leader, McLeodganj (one of the highest spots in Dharamshala region is at the height of 2004 mts, it is also known as little lhasa) Dal lake etc. Then proceeding towards Dalhousie (4hrs.) situated at scale level height of 2041 meters. Night stay in Dalhousie.

Day 9 Dalhousie Khajjiar Dalhousie

It’s a small plateau with a small stream fed lake with an area covered with weeds (it is also known as mini Switzerland of Himachal). It is about 2000 meters above sea level. Kala top Khajjiar sanctuary nearby can be visited. For the calm evening experience visit Dalhousie market afterwards. In bir billing you can also do paragliding if time permits.

Day 10 Dalhousie Chandigarh

With Breaking dawn, you will depart to Chandigarh taking an 8 hours route.

The best time to visit Himachal is from March to June month. To reach Himachal Pradesh you have to come to Chandigarh \ kalka first. We will also provide a honeymoon package.
