Dharamshal and Dalhousie are main tourist spots located in Himachal Pradesh. There are many famous tourist spots which will take at least six days to cover. DHARAMSHALA DALHOUSIE TOUR start from Delhi railway station to Dharamshala first depending on your choice after then Dalhousie then comes back to Kalka. Dharamshala sightseeing will take 2 days and if you want to go trekking four to five days will be required.
Dalhousi is the beautiful hill station established in 1854. Dalhousie is the nearest hill station from Amritsar which will take only four hours to reach. Dalhousie is situated in Chamba district at the height of 2,700 meters from sea level. Dalhousie is the small town surrounded by Dedar or Oak trees. The climate of this small hill station is very pleasant in summer time that’s why in summers lots of tourists come here. The main attraction in Dalhousie is Khajjiar which is approximately 30 minutes away from the main town. Khajjiar is also known as Mini Switzerland that’s why lots of tourists come here. In winters you can also see the snowfall here mostly here all the roads are closed in winters so if you want to see the snowfall it’s a good place to visit. The people who like adventure activities like paragliding and trekking this is a good place for them. Main famous spots in Dalhousie are Dainkund peak famous for amazing view from the top of peak second us Khajjiar known as Mini Switzerland third is Kalatop wildlife sanctuary famous for huge rage of wild animals forth is Chamara Lake built on Ravi river good spot for River rafting and for motor boating fifth is Rang Mahal constructed by Mugal and British architecture but the wall of this Mahal painted to describe the life of Lord Krishna. These are some major places in Dalhousie which take two to three days to cover.
Day 1 our cab will pick you up from Delhi railway station then drive to Dharamshala first on NH 503 which will take 7 hours to reach. On the way you can stop in Nangal, Una or in Kangra. On the way you can see the beautiful view of Dhauladhar mountain ranges. In the evening you will reach Dharamshala and the cab will drop you to the concerned Hotel.
Day 2 local visit of Dharamshala city which includes McLeod ganj, Dal lake, monastery’s, church, Bhagsunag waterfall, local Tibetan market and Dharamshala cricket stadium. One day will be required to cover all these places.
Day 3 Drive to Dalhousie which will take 4 hours to reach. Dharamshala to Dalhousie is 118 km on NH 154. On the way you can stop at a beautiful tea garden in Dharamshala or at Chamunda Devi Temple. Night stay in Dalhousie.
Day 4 Next day’s cab will take you to Khajjiar which is 30 minutes away from the main city. Khajjiar is a big grassland surrounded by the Deodar trees. After spending 2 hours there driving to Dalhousie back here you can do the shopping.
Day 5 After breakfast drop to Delhi railway station.
