McLeodganj is a small village known as Central Tibetan Administration which was established by Dalai Lama in May 1960. In Dharamshala there is a very famous church (Saint John church) that was built in 1852.
Dal lake is also a main attraction of the Dharamshala which is surrounded by the Davdar trees. It’s a natural lake and you can enjoy the booting there.
There is also a famous temple known as Bhagsunag which is known for the Lord Shiva. It’s just 2 Km away from the McLeodganj. This temple was built in the 18th century by local peoples and also there is a waterfall near the Temple which is known as Bhagsu waterfall.
McLeodganj is a very famous spot all over the world. This is the small village which is surrounded by the Davdar trees. This place is the residence of the Tibetan leader (Dalai Lama). In 1960 this place was established by the 14th Dalai Lama. An influx of Tibetan migrants was permitted by Indian Govt to inhabit McLeodganj.
Bhagsunag Temple is 2 Km away from the McLeodganj. Bhagsunag Temple is known for Lord Shiva. This temple was built in the 18th century by local peoples and also there is a waterfall near the Temple which is known as Bhagsu waterfall. During the summer time lots of tourists come there to take a bath.
Dharamshala Cricket stadium is one the beautiful international stadiums in Himachal Pradesh. This is the big stadium which has a capacity of 23,000 people. The HPCA stadium has a beautiful view of Dhauladhar ranges.
