Pinjore Garden

Pinjore garden is also known as Yadavindra garden which is basically taken from the basic design of Mughal gardens. This garden is renovated by Sikh Rulers in 1780. Pinjore garden was the palace of Maharajas of Patiala. After gaining independence Maharaja Yadavindra father of Amrinder Singh currently, CM of Punjab donate it to the Indian government. Pinjore garden is situated in Haryana state near the Kalka Shimla highway. This place is near to Panchkula city approx. 5 km. The tourist who is traveling from Chandigarh to Shimla can also spend some quality time here.

Pinjore garden is over 100 acres in total area. Cab and local transportation joints are easily available here. The garden has a sufficient parking area available. Groups from schools colleges and others often come to the garden. This garden is near Chandigarh city approx 22 km. This is also a famous picnic spot. The Garden has been laid in seven different terraces all with their own significant beauty.

The garden starts from the first main gate known as Shish Mahal which is built in Mugal Rajasthani style design. In between the gardens, you will see small ponds and fountains with water drainage systems. All trees are planted in rows on grassland which looks beautiful. Mostly local people visit in the evening time. Also, you can see other attractants like a mini zoo, a plant nursery, and long grass lawns around.

The main attraction of the Pinjore garden is Mughal-style gardens, Rang Mahal, Shish Mahal, Rani Mahal, water Fountains, grassland, and a mini zoo. The Garden is accessible between 7 am to 10 pm. The charges are around 25 rupees per person.
