Shimla Manali is the place you need a taxi to cover it because there is very less availability of other transportation.

From Kalka to Shimla you can book the train instead of a cab which is known as a toy train. Then for Shimla local sightseeing you need a taxi that is compulsory to visit all the please in a single day. On the next day drive to Manali by bus or cab which you prefer. Shimla to Manali will take 8 hours on the way you can enjoy the sightseeing of Kullu. The difference by cab or bus is only you can’t see properly Kullu and other local places because the bus will not stop in any particular tourist spot. It will directly drop you to Manali bus stop from Shimla ISBT that’s why the only cab is preferable. Sightseeing in Manali you also need the taxi for a particular day. Rohtang pass, Manikaran and Solang valley are the famous spots in Manali which take the whole day.

Day 1 Chandigarh Delhi Shimla

Welcome to Shimla the land of God (Capital of Himachal Pradesh). Named after Hindu goddess Shimla.  Situated at the height of 2205 mts. Shimla is bounded by Mandi and Kullu in the north while on south east with Solan and Sirmor. As summer capital declared by British role. Day 2 Shimla Local

Next morning after 8 am the cab will pick you up from the hotel and then travel towards the ancient Sankat Mochan Temple (Hanuman Temple), Indian Institute of advanced Studies (Biggest heritage building in Shimla), Army Museum, Jakhoo temple. In the gloaming twilight of Sunset, exploring local places like Lakkar Bazaar, Ridge, Church, Mall road, Scandal Point, Kali Bari temple are most preferable locations for an amazing walking experience. Day 3 Shimla Kufri Shimla

Arriving at the highest hill station in Shimla district kufri situated at elevation of 2290 mts famous for Himalayan wildlife zoo hosting antelopes, felines and regional birds like Himalayan Monal. This place is surrounded by the thickest forest. In ancient times it was part of the Kingdom of Nepal. Other than tracking and forest expedition horse and yack riding which magnetise the tourist point of interest. Next destination will be Naldhera resort famous for the Naldhera Golf court surrounded by the beautiful Davdar trees. Day 4 Shimla Manali

Pack your bags this is going to be an 8 hours journey to Kullu Manali. Before reaching the Manali you cannot pass Kullu without having a pleasure of river rafting in the river Base famous for its rapid flow and strong streams. Kullu is another tourist heaven in Himachal situated at the elevation of 1279 mts. It is mentioned in Mahabharata and Puranas. Ancient time ruled by Gupta Empire and Pala dynasty. After this astonishing experience, he transferred to Manali. Check in at the hotel, take dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5 Manali Snow-point / Rohtang pass

Early morning drive to Rohtang pass ( snow capped mountains) 50 km from manali at an elevation of 3999 mts. It’s a high mountain pass connecting Kullu valley Lahaul and Spiti. It has great military significance and it is open almost the entire year. It has a reputation for one of the most dangerous passes due to unpredictable weather. From November to March pass is covered with 6 to 7 feet snow on higher areas, so it is preferable to travel in summer months. High mountains ranges and beautiful sightseeing with snow covered peaks are the main attraction here.

Day 6 Manali local

First thing in the morning take a religious dose travelling towards the ancient 525 years old Hadimba Devi temple which is surrounded by Thousands of Devdar trees this temple is dedicated to Goddess Hadimba. Goddess Hadimba was Bheem’s wife. It is said that Hadimba was diverted towards spirituality in her later dates and hence left Bheem in search of God. Maharaja Bhadure Singh built Hadimba temple in 1600 AD to honour her. Also visit Van Vihar, tibetan monastery and manali mall road in evening. After this you will find yourself mesmerised by these beauty enrolled places like Tibetan centre & monastery, club House, Vanvihar, Mall road Manali, Vashisht village known for its hot sulphur springs. After a splendid day in the evening you will be dropped to a concerned hotel. 

Day 7 Manali Chandigarh Delhi Departure

With breaking dawn you will depart to Chandigarh / Delhi airport.
