Snowfall time in Kufri

Kufri is near Shimla (Himachal) and most frequently visited hill station after it. Kufri is a recent popularity gaining hill station mainly due to its proximity to Shimla and snowfalls each year. Just 15 km from Shimla, Kufri is quite popular for its ski slopes and the fine views of the snow-capped mountain peaks. Snowfall in kufri is not as reliable as in Manali or other snowfall giants but even then it’s been favorite of tourists and travellers from years. Usually every winter kufri experience around 1 feet of snowfall with exception of some years.

Kufri weather in December is extremely harsh, but it is no less than a heaven for snow lovers. Temperature during core winter months can make you shiver but beautiful scenic view of white sheet spreading over mountains and forests worth it all. Kufri has some points of interest which attracts tourists throughout the year but most of crowd prefer from December to February time period as this is the time for usual snowfall in kufri. Before packing up to kufri get a before hand forecast of weather if your sole purpose is to enjoy snowfall there.
